Lisa Carter is the owner of Meditation From The Heart and teaches meditation in Santa Cruz.
“Meditation is my absolute favorite thing to do”, Lisa declares blithe-fully. Sharing the meditation experience with others is easy and fun for her.

Lisa has been a student and has practiced Sum Faht Meditation for the past 26 years (since 1987). In 1995 a couple of Water Star Motors customers asked Lisa to share her secret to consistently being happy, focused and energized. “Meditation is my secret”, she said. They asked her to teach them how to meditate, she agreed, and the rest is history.

What is Sum Faht Meditation?  Sum Faht translates to ‘Healing Energies of the Heart’.
Sum Faht Meditation practice integrates the mind, body, and spirit by activating the divine energies of the spiritual heart. Working with these energies awakens intuition and the ability to heal ourselves and others.

This practice originated in China during the reign of the Yellow Emperor thousands of years
ago. It is a combination of Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism.

Sum Faht Meditation practice combines the stillness of traditional meditation with movement, in both sitting and standing positions. Men and women, adults and children of all ages have reaped the benefits of Sum Faht Meditation.
